Opinions on Zaino

Hey guys,

I currently am a Zymol user for my black sapphire E90. I am thinking of switching to Zaino... any thoughts? I hear it is quite good stuff and on the long run, it seems like it would be cheaper than zymol too.

there has been so much talk about zaino. I love the stuff. I have been using it since day 1 and my car is completely swirl free and it looks amazing

I have been comparing the Meguairs NXT and the Zaino. I put NXT on my E90 (3 months old) and Zaino on my Honda 7-seater (6 months old). The Zaino stuff is really amazing!

The Zaino treated Honda has a much better shine then my E90. Also when you feel the surface, it is still very smooth after weeks.

Since it is very difficult for me to order the Zaino in HK, I can't apply it to my E90 before some arrangement to buy in the States. Anyways, it is worth the effort.

if you have a dark colored car, like black, get the Meguiar's NXT..trust me. Save ur money from Zaino cuz it's just way too expensive. And NXT did a good job on my roommate's black 350Z with lots of swirls...totally removed them

NXT doesn't remove anything, it fills the swirls and scratches to hide them.

I have a Jet Black car and Zaino is awesome.

Would you consider Monaco Blue as a dark colored car? I had "a few" on my 330 and I am looking for good advice to remove them.

You're not going to remove anything without an abrasive and a machine.

Zaino is worth every penny. It has transformed my Jet Black 1992 e36 back into its days when it was first delivered. My jet black e90 is totally amazing with zaino. BUY IT. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Shim, i took out quite a few scratches by hand using ZPC, i'm sure it might have looked a bit better with a machine, but doing it by hand also works. I did this 6 months ago and they are still gone.

How long did that take you? Z-PC is a light abrasive, so it will take out some light swirls and scratches, but are you superman or something?

superman? i eat him for breakfast..LOL. No they were pretty light scratches. Once the dealer put my car through the car wash and it left light swirls ALL over the car, the other time i ahd a cat sit on my dirty hood, and as it was sliding around it pushed some of the dirt around.

I just took the regular zaino foam applictor and went to town on my car. I kid you not they were all gone. Well, there were some deep scratches from the car wash that i couldnt take care of, but the marks from the cat were gone.

Monaco Blue is definitely a dark colored car. If you have swirl marks I would recommend you put several applications of Zaino Z-5 polish on the car. If the swirls are not gone, then use either Zaino Z-PC or 3M Scratch and Swirl Remover. If you need to use either Z-PC or the 3M product, a buffer works much better than doing it by hand.
