I just put my order for a 335i Msport...but I'm confused.
I put my order at the dealer yesterday for a black saphirre Msport 335i coupe. I chose the black on aluminum trim. I was kinda going back and forth between the Le Mans blue and black interior...so I chose the black. Anyhow today on the road I saw a blue couple 335i..looked great. I stopped by and asked the driver a few questions... it was Montego blue...not Le Mans...but regardless it looks stunning.
I still have until June 3rd to change my order. I know black is sexy too...but blue is also. My car will be 335i Msport with style 230 rims and around 30% tint. I'm trying to visualize. Just confused. |

If I had it to do all over again, I'd get blue. I currently have BSM.
The lines show up so much better on blue, white, and silver than the do on black. Don't get me wrong, black is sexy, but I think something is lost/missing because of those lines (like on the sideskirts).

I would go w/ the blue... but that's just me.
LeMans is unique as it is a M-sport only color... |

Black is awesome but its also really common. If you want to stand out and don't think you will get sick of it, get blue. But you can't go wrong either way.

My advice... E-mail a couple dealerships and see if they have any cars in both Montego Blue and LeMans Blue. Both are available on your car. You really have to see them both in person and preferably in different kinds of light (direct and indirect). I have an older 2001 330ci in Montego Blue. It's nice but has purple tinges to it that some people don't like. Good luck with your choice. See ya around town! =)

I am biases, but my Montego M-Sport is awesome (had to do it myself though). I would do Lemans Msport if I was ordering one today - you have to put the cars within a foot of each other to even tell Montego from Lemans, they are very close and I would take either one in a hear beat - might want to consider the saddle interior with it - love the combo personally!
PM me if you want to see some good pics Rob

Montego and Le Mans are super close to each other. I could almost not tell them apart side-by-side at the dealership. I really like Le Mans but for me it was black only, since I didn't want to end up with the "Superman" combo of blue + coral red. Good luck deciding, but I agree that black tends to hide the lines, and it's a b**** to keep clean for more than an hour, so that's got to be a consideration

get the new Billiant White. It's a pearl metallic white! Looks stunning, and unique. I've always liked the contrast of white with the m package, since there is a lot of black accents it makes an awesome contrast.

You can't go wrong with any of the colors honestly.
I wouldn't wait for the face lift. The coupe is hot looking right now the way it looks. I'm afraid the face lift, while minor, will bring in the sedan hood. I think the current coupe hood looks better, but just my opinion. Congrats on the order!

Black is a timeless, classy color. When it's clean, its nothing short of menacing and beautiful.
Montego is seasonal in an automotive way. It's a color that will change because of its tendency to get old much faster. My vote is Black Sapphire, Alpine White, Crimson Red. I also think it depends on your age. I don't know how old you are, but if you tend to be younger like much of this forum, try to think far ahead.
