Please help!! E90 Changing halos bulbs
Hi, peeps. I got a blown out halo rings on my passengers side. I called the dealer ship, and they told me its going to cost $160.00 to replace the bulbs + labor cost. Do I need to take out my front bumper to get to it before I can get to it? Please help.

At that price I would very seriously consider buying lux 4/5 or something similar (Lux is $200). You could also just buy the bulb and install it yourself (not sure if it's h8 or h11, or what).
To replace the bulb you will most probably need to put the car on jack stands and remove the fender liner to get at the bulb. You can look at the lux instructions to get a sense of the difficulty: http://www.namotorsports.net/docs/LUX_Installations.pdf Your car will look a lot nicer with aftermarket halo bulbs anyway... |

If it is an LCI w/ Xenons, it's much easier than that - unscrew two caps from the back of your headlights inside the engine compartment, twist to remove the bulbs, unclip harness, clip in new bulb and reinstall. The passenger's side is MUCH easier to access than the driver's side. They are H8 bulbs in the LCI w/ Xenons - 08 or earlier and/or halogens are completely different.
