New CD changer sets alarm off

I had an OEM CD changer (which is old and cannot play MP3s). I removed it and got a USB module (virtual CD changer). I removed old CD changer, I did a trunk installation and installed new USB module, and everything works. Sound is crisp.

The only issue is that when I activate the alarm (press lock once on fob). After few seconds the alarm goes off. When I disconnect the USB module (old CD changer not connected) alarm works fine.

Do I need to take the car to the dealer to reprogram the alarm or is it something I can do myself?
