Zaino-Jet Black pics.
Did my first Zaino treatment on my car this weekend.
Man, now I know why I have a black car. It's like a mirror. If you have not used Zaino, it's worth the time and money.

Your car is really looking spectacular; I will be picking up my new 320i Monaco Blue this week. What type of cloth do you use to apply the Zaino and what do you use to buff your car to that alluring shine? Do you use an electric buffer? Where can I buy the Zaino?

All compliments go to Zaino for their great product.
I applied the Polishes with the supplied Sponge and wiped off with haines cotton t-shirts, the only 100% cotton I was comfortable using. I did not use an electric buffer, I find that they leave swirls that you have to work harder to rub out by hand. I used the Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit. $85 from http://www.zainostore.com I first washed the car, then used the clay bar to get out a couple water spots and small swirls. I then rinsed again. Two applications of Z5 with Z6 between and at end. Z5 was really sharp, but looked a little oily. I think the key is to allow itto dry for a long time. I only applied one coat of Z2 followed by Z6. Z2 really made it shine great. It got rid of the oily look of the Z5 and made the surface like glass. I could have added another coat of Z2, but it looked so great. In total, I spent about 3 hours on the process.

I know, I've had it for my Porsche, but after 3 hours of polishing, I had to stop the obsession.
A black car was a mistake for a car nut like me.

Looks awesome!!
Does the Zaino process help hide swirl marks and small superficial scratches on the black paint? Would appreciate any comments on this thread.

How old was the 430? What did he do for waxing since new?
Did you get the impression that Zaino brought the car back to new or polished the finish that was already there. It's easy to make a newer car look good, but do you think Zaino could be considered a paint restoration product? Any experiences with Zaino on an older finish?
