Yes I ordered 6MT Montego blue /black/aluminium a couple of weeks back. Was offered December delivery, but am taking in January to give me more time to pay off my RX-8!
Out of curiosity has anyone here seen Jade Grey leather samples? Am curious how this would go with the Montego Blue. It's not a "recommended" option by BMW. |

Have been quoted $122,500AUD (US$89,425) including on road costs (drive away) by local dealership here in Brisbane. Options include metallic paint, steptronic + paddles, sunroof. approx $500/week repayments depending on finance structure.

If you can find a copy of BMWcar magazine (August issue), Car & Driver (October issue) or Automobile magazine (September issue), you will find the combo of Montego blue / Jade grey featured in many of the photos. Also, if you look at the E92 interior thread, you will find lots of examples of this combo. The earliest "offcial photos" released by BMW featured two combos that are not amongst the recommended choices : Space grey/Jade grey and Montego blue/Jade grey. Both of these combos look great in the photos. Why they are not amongst the recommended combos (in the marketing literature)remains a mystery known only to the inner sanctum of BMW. But, in Europe and Canada at least, you can order any combo you want. Maximinimaus, a forum member in Germany, has ordered Montego blue/Jade grey and I am awaiting my Space grey/Jade grey 335i due to arrive in about 3 weeks time. Finally, I must comment on the very high prices that you Aussies are asked to pay; they are approximately double the Canadian price. Why are the prices in OZ so high? Is there still a huge import duty ?

hey danielt, which dealer was that? duno where in brissie you are but motorline and colaundra gives better prices. Duno how bargainable is the E92 but my sister for the E90 pretty early and managed 10% off by bargaining. See how you go. I am also preping for a test drive but cant afford the 335.
Also have you tried the car consultants? |

hi scheps, that was from Brisbane BMW....just recommended retail they're quoting me at this stage.
have contacted motorline and will try caloundra. won't be trading my E46 323 Coupe (ie tank). on speaking to the dealers they are trying to create the sense of urgency, which is understandable I guess. Patience is a virtue!! A demo with 4,000km on it "the Dealer Principal's wife's car" would be ideal for me if it meant saving $10-15k. have managed to source finance at 7.19% (a group called Medfin) which is much better than 8.49% through BMW. Not sure if BMW are negotiable on their finance though...not at that stage yet in the process. |

hey danielt,
I tried a car consultant at the begining of this year and got a 320 priced at 68000 down to 60200. Not sure if they could get any cheaper but thats the car consultant doing the work for you. Some dude on another forum got 9000 off his 325. so surely 10K discount on a 122000 car is doable! |

on speaking to a few dealers it seems you can get the initial dealer stock ie showroom stuff from at least October 13th. They have some database where they can see what's coming in and swap cars with other dealerships to satisfy customers...but obviously you have to accept the specs on the cars as configured. as to starting to negotiate...well i'll leave it for a while until pretty close to the showroom delivery. as to what i'm hoping for, well i'm reasonably flexible so i don't mind space gray, sparkling graphite or even titanium silver, but it has to be steptronic.
