OBD and BT Scan Tool

Are there any other options to the BT Scan Tool. Is there any other generic OBD type device you can use?

I also found this one: http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/p698...duct_info.html

I am also curious if these other options have the ability to remove specific error codes.

The BT scan tool is the only option for a reasonably priced scanner that can read and clear ALL codes.

A generic OBD scanner can't read or clear BMW hidden and shadow codes - and those are the ones that get you into trouble.
