not sure how it compares to the other stuff on the forum but i got an innova canobd2 scan tool from Kragen and its working good. just gotta find a page online to figure out what the codes mean.

The BT scan tool is the only option for a reasonably priced scanner that can read and clear ALL codes.
A generic OBD scanner can't read or clear BMW hidden and shadow codes - and those are the ones that get you into trouble. |
