bov pipe popped off

So I was driving today and I heard a loud pop and the went into limp mode. I was litterally 2 minutes away from my house and I drove to my house and parked. I checked under the hood and saw the pipe off. I was wondering if it did any damage to my car and I think i will have it towed to bmw to have them check out the car. Will my car be okay? What should I have BMW look at?

Your car is fine, if you didn't go into limp all you would have done is run really rich. I wouldn't worry about it other than if the car wont go out of limp mode. Happen to my SRT-4 and I drove a tad further than 3 mins... popped the charge pipe back on and good as new. I'm sure the Limp mode more than covered anything that would have affected the car in a bad way.

Are you running a tune? Or is it completely stock? Kinda curious if you have higher than factory boost setting that caused this.
