Metal piece inside the exhaust........

Hi, there's a round piece of metal inside the left exhaust pipe. Is this normal?

Yes, it's normal. It's a flap that closes during cold starts... I believe, to help warm up your cats. Use search to find out more info on it... as well as ways to keep it open when you start your engine (ex. golf tee mod).

Turns that valve off to make more sound during start up. It should be called the bb mod. Pop off that black vacuum line going to the valve, put in a bb, zip tie it and tuck it to the side. Now the valve wont close. No it dont hurt or void anything, just makes startup a bit louder.

No need for a BB. Just kink the vacuum hose and zip tie it.

I put a bb in. Then kinked it and used a zip tie to hold the kink and bb in place. No air is getting through that.
