Grey Poplar pic Thread..

For anyone interested in grey poplar such as myself and the rest of this

forum, let's have an official pic thread of every single pic available of

grey poplar, because this is the hardest color to determine if you haven't

seen it in person yet. From the few pics I've seen, this trim seems brownish

but other members say that it's really greyish (which I hope). This

will be good for the people who want this trim, and for those who are still

deciding.. here's a pic..

Its so strange that I dont recall the gray poplar looking brownish at all. I just remember black / white.

probably the lighting... weird

Now that looks alot better. I really dont care for the silver on the steering wheel though, unless the car has aluminum trim. I wonder why they added that, it looks out of place.

That's the word - LOUD. I wanted to like it, but that very slight orange tint to it was too much for me....

That's a configurator picture. Be warned - the configurator pictures are quite often nowhere near the real life colors.

The grey poplar I saw in person was grey with no hints of brown at all. It looked like the configurator's color (above).

Well I saw it in person as well and it looked like the first pic with hints of brown, so I've got no idea.

WTF.... Does this mean that every 335i produced with the grey poplar trim

is going to be different from each other???? If that's the case then

"F" it.. I'll start trying to figure out how I'm going to get this trim...

fnu02, I hear ya. I ordered the Black Leather with the Grey Poplar. It looks sick on the website but no so much in real life. My cars in the "On Order" stage so Im not sure if I can change it if I want.

Honestly I dont know what I would change it to, I think the brushed steel looks ok but Im not 100% on it.

Thanks for the nice comments Zeroday, Im just a little anxious about how it will look. I want my baby to be perfect
