They have to be that way because the retain the stock diameter. If they are higher profile the speedo would be off and there may be some rubbing issues.

Saw them in person today as well at the dealer on space gray. Honestly, thought they looked awful. They filled out the wheel wells great but the design just didn't work with the coupe.
