Last chance for one 205/50 r17 Pirelli run-flat

If you are local to the Boston area, want it for free, and are willing to pick it up, you can have it.

It will be going to the giant recycling center in the sky if it can't find a home in the next two weeks.

PM me if you are interested.

Tread depth across the tire
(measured at the outer blocks and on either side of center ring)
205 #1: 6/32--8/32--8/32--6/32

Because that is what the market dictates. No one (locally anyway) wants one random, crappy ass runflat. It's not really a bad tire, but I don't know of any other cars that are using this tire/size, and there are not many 128i sport packages in the area as far as I can tell. I have advertised it locally for a while with no interest, and I don't want to deal with shipping it because it's not worth the hassle for what someone would pay.

Otherwise the tire is fine and has no problems to my knowledge. I blew the other front tire in a pot hole earlier this year and managed to sell the rears as a set after replacing all four tires with non-runflats.

So I figure if someone can use it and will take it off my hands with little effort on my part, it is better than sending it to the recycle yard.

I would say buy a cheap wheel and use that one last rft as a spare tire. Thats what im doing.

I lost one of front PS2s to a pothole the other day. The rears are close to being shot, so im buying a new set come spring. Im buying a $115 wheels and keeping my last good PS2 as a spare.

That is a good idea, but I already have a set of autox wheels/tires and a set of winter wheels/tires that I can use as spares if need be.

Maybe someone else wants it though?
