I just heard on the radio the other day that subway is just about to surpass mcdonalds with the most total number of stores world wide. You just don't notice subways as much because they are not standalone buildings.

Really sprouting up in gas stations here.

I would like to own a few of these gas/eat rascals. Get a killer location and count the mula.

Oh no, you could exercise the recommended amount of 3 times a week 30 min each time and you would STILL gain weight if you ate Mcdonalds once a day. Yea I'm going to say McDonald's makes you fat, not to mention they don't really have the "healthiest" ingredients. However, if you made a homemade burger from actual ground beef and wheat bun with fresh veggies, it'd be a lot healthier.

Also I see alot more subways than McD's so yea you might be right on that one. Gotta love subways 5$!

nah... it's not because of Micky D's. I eat them atleast 3 times per week for the past year, but I didn't gain a pound and I'm not anywhere close to being obese (5'10" 150#). Their food isn't that bad when compared to other food you get from the "health" places. It's all about how much you eat and how much excerise you get.

Now I'm not saying eating Mickey D's is "good" for ya. I think any processed food is not good for your well being.

Umm, McDs is a massive contributing factor to sickness, degenerative disease, and obesity. Think about the internal dysfunction from the shit food -- hormonal imbalance, gut dysfunction, liver overload, compromised immunity. Good luck exercising that away.

Contrary to traditional thought you get healthy to lose weight not lose weight to get healthy.

Dietary fats do not increase cholesterol. That is a myth. Too little saturated fat intake actually encourages cardiovascular disease. It's actually the refined carbohydrates (sugar, refined grains) and the fried food cooked in rancid vegetable oils that cause cholesterol to rise in the body due to their inflammatory effect. Cholesterol rises as a result of inflammation in the body; it is a very powerful anti-inflammatory. The medical community and big pharma have their head up their ass.

If you don't eat it for a while, and then eat it again, it gives you diarrhea. I think that says enough.

No, the reason fast food places have $1 items is because they have the facilities to produce countless quantities of the product at very little cost.

We studied this stuff in Toxicology BTW.

You can even make it more simplified and look at the cows used by fast food places, they're definitely not grass fed like they would be in nature so they would grow bigger and therefore provide more quantity. The hormonal stage of the cows change, among other things, and guess who consume the cows?
