Texas Plates

I found this site, (http://myplates.com/) sorry if its old news, that has awesome legal plates. They went out of business in November 2008 because of no interest. I saw a Aggie with a pink one on her Lexus. Maybe if enough of us sign up they might come back. I wouldn't mind a all white and black plate. Looks interesting.

Those are almost essential now that TDOT has that new plate design they've been issuing for the past couple of months. They are HIDEOUS!

hmmm....I think I'd rather stick with the regular one.

I already catch enough attention with my current custom plate:

Yeah, the new plates are ugly as sin. I ordered custom plates with my alma mater's background a couple of weeks ago. Need to go pick them up if I ever get time.

I'm still kicking myself for not thinking of SHK&BAK....and have been trying to figure out a way to compress 'Slingshot...Engage' into 7 letters

You just need 2 cars. It would be even more fitting that way!

That plate design (not even talking about the personalized letters) is pretty sweet. Plain and simple. That's what I want on my car. Is that Texas' standard format for personalized plates? I should just order personalized plates with my current random letters on it, just to get the nicer design.

I got my tags from 'myplates.com' before they went belly up. Luckily, TXDOT is allowing us to keep our plates otherwise I would lost $$ bigtime. I got the 10 year price when I got them. (Mine are the red T model ones).
I agree with you guys...the new Texas plates really look tacky..

I'm pretty happy with that simple design I got with my custom license.

You should go for it!

Yeah, the website says it will "open" in 11 days... It will be nice to see some of these plates out there vs the recent ones out now.. just awful.
