This is a US-spec light switch from my '08 328xi. I modified the inside so that the rear fog switch works. The only difference between this and a "real" Euro Light the button doesn't have any markings on it.

However, the button works as you can see in the following images and it allows you to use your rear fog lamps.

The Euro Light Switch is ~$100 from Tischer.

I'm asking $50 shipped, or $25 shipped with a trade for your original one.

There is already a DIY post about it. I don't remember where it is, but it's somewhere on this site.

Its not too hard to do, but there is always a chance of you breaking something. For $25 I think its better just to get a switch that is guaranteed to work 100% or I will refund you your money. Plus if you do break something, it will cost you a lot more to get a new switch.

I have a lot of positive ratings so its a pretty safe buy

I have an extra one, so I've been trading it with other members. I send them one with the fog button enabled, they send me back their original one.
