Mountain run somewhere on the 23rd

OK, there's been lots of attempts to get something scheduled and it always runs into a snag. Here's the deal. I and at least 1 other 1er are going to do a mountain run SOMEWHERE on Friday the 23rd. The date is firm, but where we go isn't necessarily. Call has some great routes that I can get from him if he isn't available to go. I'm open to just about anything, I just know its time to DRIVE.

I think the 09er 1ers with iDrive can send a route from google maps to their cars. The 08er 1ers are screwed.

yeah, you can for the 09 iDrive - there are instructions somewhere in the iDrive subforum.
i remember it not being as easy as the method for sending an address or coordinates to your iDrive via Google Maps, but i could certainly be wrong.

50/50 chance of making this...very busy week and family coming to town Friday but I think they will not arrive until late. I'll work on this date. The route is okay...it's an all day drive. Will need to leave early and get back late.

Should be cold...just hope we can make this trip before they throw out the salt gravel.

Other than watch weather reports for that area we could always check The Dragon website...it always tells what's going on up there. If it's freezing or had snow you can bet salt & sand has been put on the roads anywhere north of Helen
