Seems a shame there isnt a business bullitin board or something similar or here where we can see what each other do and pass bit of business each others way. Highlight special offers or little ideas for example.

I didn't know for example what Andrew did but he could probably look at my works phones.

There are things I could do also for loads of people on here to reduce costs or improve what they've got but seems a bit un-gentlemanly somehow to raise them ourselves.

Andrew; tell us what you do - corporate, personal, large accounts, small accounts or something completely different?

Feel obliged to get you more business to help you with the next tank of fuel

A 'business services' sticky thread would be a good idea IMO so long as it doesn't get spammed.

Thanks very much for the feedback...I'm glad I could help.

Yes you are correct with the company and I am (obviously) aware of certain reviews. It's not appropriate for me to comment either positively or negatively however it's fair to say that it's very difficult to please everyone all the time.

Whilst it's no excuse for getting it wrong sometimes (and we do!), it's hard to put into context just how few reviews (positive or negative) there are in comparison to the volume of business that we do.

We deal predominantly with consumer (personal) connections and deal very little with businesses; it's a situation that I'm not entirely happy with as the B2B market has so much opportunity. However, we are 'value' sub-brand of the UK's largest telecoms retailer and they already have the B2B side taken care of and therefore make it very difficult (impossible on some networks) for us to connect a business customer

However, I like a challenge and if I can help I will; if I can't I will tell you! If you're interested let me know.

With regards to offering services to other forum members, I have traditionally kept quite a low profile when it comes to issues relating to the industry that I work in. It's a fiercely competitive industry and this means there will be times when I will be able to help someone get the best deal in the market and other times, I just won't be able to.

It just so happens that in Lons case, he wanted a product, tariff and network that I could do something very competitive on and I'm happy that I could help. I guess I'm just very conscious of making sure that I don't over promise and under deliver!

Roger, Are you in the financial services sector? If so, please could you arrange for M&S shares to go up instead of down, they have been on a southerly trajectory for a couple of weeks now, I am down a few quid and the kids are getting hungry

If anyone wants some precision munitions delivered to a specified target, I am your man.

( Iam joking in case anyone (Carlos) thinks I am being serious.)

Certainly interested. So, just so I'm clear, you can sort out personal mobile phone contracts, get a good phone, good deal, job done I've got 4 contracts running; the wife's needs sorting out asap (just need her to decide on which phone she wants). Do you do O2??

I've been going to a 'networking' lunch for the last 12 months which, even though it has its fair share of 'dead-wood', has proved pretty successful - this place is no different really - I'd like to think we have an element of trust in each other, certainly enough to 'investigate' something on your behalf.

I've been speaking to Gareth @ Bespoke Auto whose name has been mentioned on here. I know 'biscuits' uses him and others. I'd not have known about him if it weren't for this forum - he seems a top bloke and his figures kicked BMWs ass. Why not do the same for each other's businesses on here.

For example, anyone with any private medical insurance (company of private), I can virtually guarantee to lower their premiums come renewal time. If people have 'frozen' pensions dotted around I can bring these all together and reduce charges & improve performance. Protect 'key' employees in the event of death or disability. Sorry, that turned into a bit of a blatant plug but I’m just trying to prove a point. The list goes on...
