op: you don't need the adaptive feature. they also sell non adaptive xenon lights. you will not be able to use the adaptive feature without a lot of work....

^you guys need to let me know ASAP if this works haha even though I won't be far behind.
Matt's please figure out how to get the adaptive feature working w/o having to do a whole new harness. My dealership isn't going any further w/o some concrete evidence of what the fix will be. If you do I'll fly out there and hug you myself, I mean good firm handshake haha.

well Hmmmmm....
I know you don't NEED a new harness, you can always follow the harness with new wires. it depends on what wires are already at the headlight connector of a halogen equipped car. If you already have the wires at the headlight for adaptive motor function, then all you'd need is the height sensor of the front axle and some wires/terminals/connectors from there to the FRM (footwell module). I don't see why this wouldn't make it work. But this would ONLY work on a car with a new FRM, retrofitted to beleive it has Xenons. Matt |
