RANT OVER mercedes make my blood boil

went over my grandads today both of them are 78 but both active, but stuck in there old ways like buying the dearest tv as they have had the same make for years lol and wouldnt buy any other,
anyway they brought a brand new 57 plate C200 kompresser in 2007, as they dont do the miles the service light comes on every 12 months,so now there on there 2nd service and the light came on so they rang the dealer today, his car has wait for it 4331 miles lol,anyway the nearest garage is 40 miles and they will pick it up and bring it back and the cost for a service £480 +£11 for pick up,last time he payed cash as they wouldnt have a cheque, now they dont want both, and asked for a debit card he hasnt ever used one before but has one,so they said you have to pay before we pick it up this is soo bullshit so soo hard sell,
its put me buying a merc and there servicing costs
