Not to threadcrap but you'd be lucky to get $95, let alone $495 for this. I recently sold my own wheel for $75 but yours has the trim too so I don't know.

Good luck.

I am not in any rush. And if a new one sells for $600 (I confirmed with the dealer) and my wheel is almost new, why would it sell for $95.

Ok guys--you gave me a reality check. I was basing it on what the dealer told me a new one costs. It does come with the trim so I would think $120 plus shipping is reasonable. Does that sound fair? Thanks for the feedback. This is the first item I have sold like this--and likely the last!

Well--the saga continues. Now I know why my steering wheel is more expensive. I checked with the dealer again and mine if for Paddle Gear Shifters. He said a new wheel without Paddle support sells for $385 list price--versus the one like mine that does have Paddle Gear shifter support which lists for $600 new. My wheel will only work with cars with Paddle Shifters. Given all of this confusion I am going to re-post the ad. As they say nothing is easy! This has been a real learning experience.

Paddles make no difference. The non paddle wheel can fit the paddles fine and neither cost that much anyway. Doesnt change the cost. Your dealer is absolutely nuts. Go to getbmwparts.com and find the steering wheels. A brand new one is $2xx regardless of paddle cutouts.. The only $600 wheel is the bmw performance racing wheel.

Ill paypal you $1 if you sell the wheel for $500. You will be lucky to get $100 like everybody else said. GL with the sale though.

Look closer at Tischer

I have gone to the Tischer web site. If you put my part number 32306777631 into their database (you have to use a 2008 year as the '09's will not search yet) you get the following:

32306777631

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...&siteid=214672

Steering wheel, 3 series, w/sport wheel, w/leather, w/shift paddles

Description Year MSRP Price Core Price Your Price
06-08 $568.62 $454.90

Steering column - Steering wheel

Now if you put the same wheel in without shift paddles you still get the following:

Steering wheel, 3 series, w/sport wheel, w/leather, w/o shift paddles
Description Year MSRP Price Core Price Your Price
06-08 $534.72 $427.78

Here is a list of all similar wheels in different flavors

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0

You will see the only one they sell for around $200 is the NON Sport Wheel without leather and that one is $270.

32306781094 or 32306781095 - 09 heated wheel with or without paddles is $300 new. No idea where these outrageous high numbers you are getting are from but thats not what you pay if you talk to tischer. Thats some crazy high numbers. Ive talked with tischer alot about steering wheels cause im doing a steering wheel project. $300 brand new. Used is gonna be $100 if your lucky. Paddles makes no difference. I have paddles but am going to a non paddle wheel.

Good luck either way. Be happy with whatever you get to help recoup the new wheel cost. Nobody is gonna pay more for your wheel which is stock, when they can get a mtech or m3 wheel for less. Heck for $100 more they can get the bmw performance wheel! Your numbers are wrong, adjust your price and im sure it will sell no problem.

I will call Tischer and get to the bottom of this. If nothing else the vast confusion in variations of steering wheels/the numerous flavors they come in--is enough to cause major price confusion.

In any case the part number you entered is below from Tischer. It is not comparable to the wheel I am selling.

32306781094 $383.31 $0.00 $306.65

Its all the same man. Its sport with/without paddles. They are all $300. Do a bit of searching on these forums and check the prices on the wheels. You really cant expect to get more for your used wheel, then you paid for a brand new upgraded mtech wheel can you?

Theres not even anything to talk to tischer about. You have a stock wheel. They are less then $100 and you are charging a few hundred percent premium higher then all the other plain old stock wheels on the forum everyday. Its even higher then the aftermarket wheels. Yes the wheel choices are confusing, but still.

If you do find somebody insane enough to think that a used stock wheel is worth $500 instead of the $100, please pm me his name cause I gots lots to sell. Im not going to respond anymore since I dont want to threadjack and will delete my posts if you request. Good luck with the sale.

There is a new price on my new thread

I did not realize this was my old thread. I did decrease the price a while ago:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=316677

I see Tischer is selling this wheel for about $450 with paddles (they did not indicate trim). With this in mind I decreased my price to $199.

The link in the first post above has been changed by the web site as they updated their system. Here is the new link for this Wheel posting:
