That looks great, especially the second shot. What's going to take them a week?!

Thanks. It does look great although as it's externally basically like many of the publicity pics I guess it may not be unique! It's not loaded - by the time I had auto, leather and the bigger wheels it was right at the limit of what I could spend but with that engine, I know I have made the right decision!

Delayed pick up is a combination of lease company, dealer prep and me being away a couple of days. The wait will be a pain - having sat behind the wheel I am itching to get out in the road!!

It's alright I suppose - not enough doors though.

Only joking - great car - when I see one in the flesh I'll decide if I will ever love it like I love the e46 coupe.

I wanted the E92 coupe but my company won't allow me to have a two door car - so I settled for a 320si

Looks great by the way - Love to see what the M3 E92 looks like when it eventually arrives.......

Sherekhan - first congrats the SI is a really unusual and cool compaby car.

In your pics you have a shot where the interior is dissasembled - did you take it all apart for a reason - or just curiosity?

The shot was taken when I had my non BMW handsfree kit installed.

Unfortunately my company wouldn't pay for a BMW bluetooth option. So I had to have an aftermarket install.

I'd thought i'd include the shot as others may be interested to see how the dash comes apart so easily.

Those are actually 18". The 19" look fanatstic but the roads around here are so bad I don't think my spine could take it!

Congrats, must be tough not being able to take delivery 'till after a week. At least your E92 is in good company with that silverstone E60 M5 next to her

Those are the Style 189 18" jobs that are in the brochure and a lot of the press shots. I was going to get some of those on mine. At least if everyine is ordering those wheels then I might be able to pick up a 2nd car 'bargain'.

So please can someone order a Space Grey 335i with brushed alluminium, bluetooth, satnav, 189 wheels and black leather and then win the lottery so that they can sell the car to me for £10k less than they paid for it.

I got dibs on one now ;-)

Hi, I'm really not a fan of external mods. I much prefer the understated! What kind of things do you like?

I was tempted briefly to have the badge delete option but anyone who knows can see the exhausts! Just think it would be fun to have someone who doesn't know take you on!

It seems to ride a bit high in those pics? Does the 335d come with sports suspension as standard like the petrol does?

Just the shipping blocks, hopefully.

Price list states that both 335i and 335d Coupe have Sports Suspenision as standard ("Stiffer spring/damper set-up with vehicle lowered by 15mm").

See what you mean about the ride height. Not sure when they would remove the shipping blocks. I know when I sat it, most of the electrics didn't work and the dealer said it was all switched on as part of the prep for delivery.

IMO, I would debadge it just because there doesn't seem to be enough space on the back of the 335i for it and with the dual exhaust it looks more balanced without it.

I really like the 19 inch 199s, but the 189s just don't look the same.

Did you consider the 19 inch 230s?

To be honest, the state of the road surfaces around here I am cringing a bit at how rough the ride might feel on the 18". My E46 330Ci has the standard wheels (17"?) and my teeth rattle when I hit a bad pothole.

The 19" look fantastic but, apart from the ride, they cost an ADDITIONAL £560! (That's £890 over the standard ones.) I think they deliberately chose ugly wheels as standard - I just don't like them at all!

I have the 18" on my E46 coupe sport and find the ride quite hard (bordering on too hard). The 19" wheels look fab but as you say they will break something in the car or driver driving round England on our roads.

I agree with your conspiracy theory regarding the wheels but £1200 is a bit steep for a poorer ride and high kerbing probability

David,

Went to the local dealer today and seen the E92 335 being prepped for a customer.

I quite like the styling :rocks: - it looks more like a grand tourer than a coupe. I'm gonna see if I can change my managements restriction on not being able to have a 2 door car. Otherwise it's gonna be a E60 next time
