Wife's New Car

Wife got her new car last week which means we now have 2 Minis till I decide what to get next. Nice choice to have in the morning though, Boxster or Mini?

Very nice..... love the colour. My wife's new Mini is something more modest, but they are all great cars.

Sort of (although my BM has gone now) but I work on the basis that if I keep her happy then she'll keep me happy and after 20 years I'm still smiling

Update - Now I've Driven the Thing

Well i've just been for my first proper drive in the JCW and although I wasn't allowed to take it over 4K revs (it's the wife's car and she wants to "run it in properly", oh and she was sat next to me so I couldn't cheat) the bloody thing is amazing.

We drove from Wantage to Reading and if anyone knows the area you know how good that road is. Speed builds incredibly quickly, brakes are astounding and the handling, well it beats any 3 series I've ever driven (including an e92 335d M Sport which I had on loan for a week).

Best bit of all is the sport button, turns the thing into a bloody go kart. Instant precise steering and acceleration, god knows what It'll be like when I'm allowed to drive it properly.

I'd have to say that it is certainly better than the 2 year old Cooper S I'm running as my commuter at the moment and could easily give the Boxster a run for it's money. Overall, a truly stunning little performer.

Lovely looking car and I've checked out the 'stats' - impressive!

Love that colour too.
