Help with 2006 X3 phone ??
First off, nice forum here....
OK, mom just got a pre-owned 2006 X3. I can pair her LG VX5500 and make and recieve calls. However it will not load her phonebook. It just hangs on "Loading Phonebook" screen for hours. Her old LG VX8350 paired and loaded phonebook in seconds. Any ideas, help ?? |

Welcome!
You might want to check the phone's menu to see if you have selected loading the phone book, and then it may load. It sometimes takes a little longer than the pairing itself does. Quote:

Yep you need to use the phones own phone book, not the sim cards memo. I'd buy the phone holder in to the armrest, works a lot better and that way it uses cars own antenna.

yeah, if it works with one phone, and not the other, i'm willing to bet the problem is with the phone, and not with the car.
