Why no good tracks in Michigan?
I'm looking at events out of state, the only track here is waterford hills which is dumpy. this is the "motor city", what gives?

There's also Grattan and Gingerman - I haven't been to either, but I agree Waterford Hills leaves a lot to be desired.

Then there's Road America in WI, which is closer than Mid-Ohio, but a further drive for most of MI. So, there's Gingerman, Gratten, and Waterford Hills (still not as bad as Nelson Ledges, OH) in MI, and Mid-O and Road Ameria not too much further. Lucky you! Believe it or not, there are states that have no tracks
