Don't wanna make this a big deal...but people are selling these for a lot less. Apparently though, $160 shipped is seen as a "fair" price. I've seen them go lower though.

Yeah that's 3.60$ per horsepower; doesn't get much better than that in the hp world. Do you realize how much money some ppl pay for horsepower?

Car parts depreciate which is why you are trying to sell this for $180 and not $280. Seeing as how you bought this for $180, you should realistically be asking for a little less. Asking for $190 was a little greedy of you imo.

Prices go by by market value. Market value for a used JB+ is 180-200. 180 is on the LOW side which is why I said it was a good price. This doesn't depreciate like tires; which get used. As long as the wires are in good shape it will still work as intended. All it does is raise boost 4-5psi and if it does that it is in "good working condition". It helps everyone that the market is healthy, you can buy a used JB+ and when your lease it up you can sell it for around the same price you paid. So quit bitching about the prices you are paying 3 dollars per horsepower.

He says he needed money and lowered the price to 180. Take it and run. He could ask 205 and it would sell but he would have to wait a bit.

So this goes for $280 new. Why is it going for $180-$200 now? Because the value depreciated as it went from owner to owner. Not sure why you are trying to explain "market value" to me since it is a FACT that the value dropped $100 because it is USED. I am also not bitching about the price. Just saw the OP bought it for $180 very recently and tried asking for $190.

BTW, here is your market value

omg, all the argument for 20 bucks. let the op sell, if he doesnt sell, he would lower it down. that is best understanding of market value, assuming everyone here has the full access to the market.
buying at 180 or lower and trying to make a profit violates the FS rule in most of the forum, not sure if that is case here though
