Hartge Exhaust, Spring and Sprint Booster
Hi Guys just finish fitting the new exhuast and lowering the spring. Sprint Booster was fitted because the Hartge exhuast doesnt have a control valve, therfore loosing some low end. Very Litter but noticeable. Unacceptable so I fitted the Sprint Booster. I highly recommend it. Now It sound like a real V8!!! Next coming ECU! Here are so picture for those interested.

That looks really good. Are your wheels the 20's or 21's?
Also can someone please point me in the right direction for info on what the spring booster is/does |

Thanks. It is the 21" wheel. Sprint Booster gave your car a better acceleration and more sensitive on the accelerator.

Working on it. To be frank I kind of regret fixing the Hertge Exhaust. It sound pretty good when you start the engine. But pretty annoying went driving. It is not my cup of tea. I prefer a smooth ride than vroom vroom. The note is that low and for the first time I experience light vibration on the gear shift and steering. I did it purely for cosmetic reason.
One important thing just to let everyone konw, when you switch a new exhaust without the air valve, you will suffer on the low end. You will also experience a turbo lack. Not very happy. I will run a DINO test for both the exhuast, Hartge without air valve and the original exhaust with air valve. Will do it in mid Jan 2010. Will let everyone know. I may even considering removing the original air valve to the Hartge exhaust or Removing the Hartge exhaust tip to the oringinal exhaust with air valve. Will see result on DINO test.

I would believe that all the exhaust sound of Engine with Turbo will never be as good as he sound of Non Turbo Engine. Driving in constant speed in some RPM range the sound is just a pain in the ear. I don't know if you have the same thought as me

I would say I did it because purely of cosmetic reason. Do you agree it look very good? It is a performance brakes when you do track, lots of intense hard braking for hours and it still perform well. In the stock brakes it cant perform as good as the racing brakes because of the cooling rotor and a bigger contact with the brake pad. This Brembo brakes is design to have a better cooling on the rotor and gave a much even wear on the brake pad. Resulting in a bigger surface contcat with the rotor. Stainless steel brake line does gave a more sensertive braking feel. In city drive you cant tell a thing but more feel on the brake, the stock is as good. But on track it should out perform the stock. Happy New Year.

Drive it straight to a professional paint protection shop. I had put 8 layers of clear coat of pain protection over it in the first 2 month. It looks like liquid glass, very very very deep colour. This protection is harder than the paint inself. You will still get micro scratches along the way when you clean it if you are not careful. Make sure your micro fiber cloth is always new and clean. To be frank in 6 months I had never use anything other than 2 pail of water in each wash just to wipe it clean. 1 pail for first wipe second pail final wipe. Just like in singapore 2 pail of water in a bicycle cleaning from car to car in HDB area. I clean my car once a week rain or no rain. It is very easy to clean with those protection layers. Buff it again every year to remove the clear coat by layers depending how deep your micro scratches is than top it up again what you have buff away. IMO no wax is needed because wax will soften under high temp like Singapore. It will attract dust very easily and it only look good for awhile. My biggest problem is still the brake dust since I put on the Brembo at least double from the stock brake. What to do bigger brake pad = more dust.
