I tried to resurrect my older windows laptop (the one that finally got me to switch to Mac), but it is truly F'd! I really don't want to pollute my Mac with any Microsoft crap. Guess I'll have to see if anyone is selling a cheap laptop to use just with the car.

I to wish that I was able to install the BT software on my MacBook Pro with out having to use a parallel to run it. Sucks because I have to use to old lady's laptop and she bitches about how why her Gateway can do it and how my much more expensive Mac can't.

You could run bootcamp which comes already installed on your macbook.

So I couldn't get Crossover to work for the BT software. However, I did stumble upon the Vista install disk that we had for our home office computer and just ran Bootcamp - now I've got Vista running on the Mac and the BT software runs like a champ. In fact, I think that Vista runs much better on the Mac than it does on computers that were designed for it!

Super easy. Go to Applications - Utilities - Boot Camp assistant. You'll need a Windows Install disk (I used Windows Vista) and your Mac OS X disk. Just click the Boot Camp assistant - make the partition at least 7 GB if you are running Vista. It will install Vista, then insert the Mac OS X disk and it will make everything compatible with your Mac. Pretty easy and takes about 30 min.

Recommend opening the Guide (PDF) on another computer to have handy if you don't want to print the whole thing out.
