Installed downpipes and now CEL

I installed my downpipes today and when i took the car out for a test drive everything was perfect with no cel or ses. I drove the car home from the shop and then from my house to a friends house. It was at that time when the yellow half engine light came on. I turned the car off and restarted it and the light disappeared. I drove the car for another 20 minutes and then the ses light came on. Im going to install the o2 sim in the morning so im not worried about the ses, I was just curious about the yellow half engine light..is that limp mode? it didnt feel like the car lost power..has this happened to anyone else when installing downpipes

Thanks in advance for the help

I had same problems, o2 sim fixed it.

For me the half engine light always resulted in a limp mode.

1/2 check engine light is limp mode. Usually if you cycle the key off and then restart the car, it should reset itself. I occasionally get limp here and there due to engine misfire. Usually when your check engine lamp turns on during a drive, it points to your 02 sensors most of the time. I would say that installing your 02 sims would correct the problem.
