Angry More on Revinora

Part I is here:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=322484

and here comes Part II......

So, they promised they were going to upgrade to Next Day shipping for me since they screwed up the first time. However, I quickly found out that was not the case when EAW posted this:

OK, Ground shipping, fine. I'll just wait patiently for a couple more days. After all, I have waited four weeks at that point already. Couple days later, the lip made it to our door step. The packaging was not the most solid and look a little beat up and there weren't enough packing materials to secure the lip in the big box.

When I opened up the box, and took the lip out. I noticed something odd about the middle portion lip even through the bubble wrap. So, I immediately started unwrapping it, and here's what I saw:

The bottom of the lip literally came apart from the rest of the lip! The weave of the lip was not aligned well so it's slightly crooked. The lip also have a matte finish on it even though I requested a gloss clear coat over the 1x1 weave carbon. At that point, I was at a loss of words. I bought this lip as a birthday present for myself since it's my first birthday after I finished medical school.

I contacted EAW immediately and I sent the pictures over. Revinora claimed that is due "shipping damage". EAW requested that to not post any of these online until they sort it out with Revinora. I complied and got a refund from Revinora within 48 hours and the lip was picked up by UPS to go back to Revinora. I thought I was done with Revinora at that point.

However, later, I was contacted by EAW that Revinora was going to offer me a free replacement lip because of the prolonged wait, and the damage product that I received. They want to mend the customer relationship with me, and polish their public image. I initially declined the offer because I don't feel like taking a freebie from them. However, EAW insisted that Oshin, the owner of Revinora, would like to offer the lip as a gratuity to me and wanted me to have a positive experience with them. I finally accepted the offer, but after more than 6 weeks, I still have yet to see this "free" replacement. During these six weeks, multiple emails were sent to Revinora, basically telling them that it is ok if they changed their mind and don't want to give me a freebie. I just want a definitive "no" from them, so I can move on with my projects. I have not heard back from the company yet.

To Oshin @ Revinora:

I have been jerked around enough by you and your company. At this point, I don't want to have any thing to do with your company.

Obviously professionalism and customer service are not a strong point for them. Don't worry, the market will weed them out quickly enough. Especially in this economy. You got your money back, just move on.

Wow. What a POS company. I don't understand what goes through these vendors minds when they do things like this. Do they NOT understand it will be posted, tahtthey will be scrutinized horribly, and they will lose business?

Kev,

It's really sad that you were jerked around.

You know what my thoughts are concerning this whole ordeal, and the principle players involved.

At least you got your money back, so it wasn't a complete disaster...

Kev, like I mentioned before, that's just a real shame. Even if the lip was banged up during shipping, it really shouldn't have split like that. Between that and the wrong finish, it just seems like the quality and attention to detail is missing from Revinora's products.

At least EAW did their best to take care of you, and you got your money back.

Yep, EAW should be commended on their professionalism.

I don't understand why it always take a post like this for vendors to respond.

Because some vendors believe we are ignorant to this section of the forum.

Oshin, Like I said, you dont need a pro shoot to share the progress... I understand wanting to keep it underwraps, I guess... We all just want to see where you are at with it. It might be months till a PRO shoot... BTW, if you want me to shoot the car when your done let me know... Im no PRO, but Im free, decent and have a rig for rolling shots!

There's more then one Oshin in Revinora? You were the first to market the first revinora exhaust on your E46 too. Somehow I don't believe that.

This thread reminds me of my experience with Oshin02 when i bought the interlagos CSL trunk lid off the car in his M3 in his sig. 3 months late. Poorly packed. hacked together and beat up, 1000 clear runs, paint doesn't match, dry spots from lack of clear. 0 prep work! That trunk was seriously bolted to your "show car?"

What kind of chop shop put that trunk together? The same ones that are manufacturer-ing parts? It was horrendous.

Another 2 months gone by without seeing a lip. At this point, I have completely given up. Revinora / Oshin, if you were a man, you'd keep your words. If you don't want to do it for free, come out and say it like a man. Don't try your little tricks of stalling. You have zero credibility left in my books.
