V1 Hardwire question

Getting a V1 soon, and wanted to know if there is a special hardwiring kit that is available?

I'm gonna use the V1 in 2 cars, so I'd like to hardwire them both. Does it come with enough wiring to allow me to do this?

Should I buy 2 concealed displays to accomplish this?

It comes with a hardwire kit, if you buy it from the Valentine website or from someone that will sell you everything it came with. The site also sells the parts seperately if you need it.

It is personal preference if you want the concealed display or not. Also, I think you should do a search on the V1 in this forum. They have different options on how to install it yourself.

Do a search on "hardwire V1" and you'll get lots of background. Or, you can look in the DIY section, as there are two options there. The main choice you have to make is whether you want to tap into a wire in the overhead light assembly or hardwire it into the fusebox. I think the latter is a better solution, as I don't like tapping into wires if I don't have to. I used the following post as my guide for installing my V1 and am very pleased with the results.

I do not use the remote display. As ntpcrew13 already stated, but for confirmation, the hardwire kit is included when you purchased a new V1, and additional hardwire kits are available from their website.

When I was on their website store, I didn't see an option to purchase another hardwire kit. Where on the site is it?
