Great...Rust seems to be coming from behind center cap on my ASA JH9's

Of the 4 wheels, rust is coming from behind the cap on one of them... Wheel is only a couple of months old too. The cap is plastic, but I'm thinking maybe there's a metal clip or something on it?

I didn't take the wheel off to check from the inside, but the rust is all around the center, so I'm hoping it's just the cap and not the wheel itself or the hub. It's the front wheel, so it's not a spacer. The hub was scrubbed using a wire brush before the wheel was put on, as well as anti-sieze applied to the hub.

Anyone know how to get the cap off without taking the wheel off and pushing it out from the inside so I can check it out? I tried to use two dental type metal picks with no luck. Seems really tight in there.

Here's a pic of the rust:

Yeah, a suction cup should work. Also, I'm guessing the rust is in fact from your hub - they all rust. But, it's rare that the rust is so much that it comes through like this. How much anti-sieze did you use? If you used too much it may have started oozing out a bit when your brakes got hot. You should only use a very light, thin coating - that's all you need. Also, you could take the wheels off again, clean & degrease the hubs well and then paint them so they don't rust again.
