Wishing for a minor accident?

This thread probably will be viewed by many as pointless, useless, and perhaps annoying, but I'll ask the question anyway..

Do any of you individuals wish a driver would crash into you in hopes of pocking the insurance money for upgraded body panels (M-tech/other body kits)? Call me crazy, but today I was sitting at a stop light and after coming to a splippperrry stop, I noticed a car approaching me faster than probably acceptable. I found my self saying "I hope this fucker rear ends me", the thought of an AW e90 w/ an m-tech rear was on my mind just moments prior to this. maybe I'am just wacked outa my mind for modsssssssss

This one body shop i used to know here in Brooklyn, had a metal/concrete pole built in right in front. This pole was atleast 2 feet diameter and about 5 feet high, and it was all banged up. I asked the owner of shop what that pole is there for and he told me this,- it is for crashing cars into it, to claim losses and total losses too... some very expensive audis airbags didn't deploy... also they have a mexican guy that they call to come in when they need to crash the car... mexican guy's nik name is "kamikaze" and he comes with his own safety belts because he doesn't trust car's safety feature. I heard many people use that service to get out of leases and to make lots of cash in no faults... some crazy illigal brooklyn shiatze, they all probably in jail already.

I crashed my new car shortly after leaving the lot. I felt like it was a world record in amount of time it took for someone to destroy a car. I felt very sad because I was immediately attached to the car but as luck would have it, the accident took it away from me quite swiftly.

Thankfully, however, the insurance payed out way more than the actual price I paid for the car. :P I COULD HAVE bought a 335i with the extra cash but i'm under 25 and the increase in my insurance premium would bring the scales back down out of my favor haha.

Hmm...I used to wish my cars would get slammed but the only time I ever got hit was in the new car once I just got it. Never when I was gonna get rid of it.

Funny thread - Prowess - always enjoy reading you and your first response to this one was a classic - LOL!!!!

To answer the OP, I have to admit I've had similar thoughts, but only with cars that I was mentally done with. I don't want an accident to be the catalyst for getting upgraded parts as I'm afraid of the permanent damage (i.e. squeaks, rattles, twisted frames, etc.) that might come along with it.
