Feeler;Bored of black now want lemans blue
does anyone get these silly ideas in their head or is it just me where they want the same car but in different coulour.
i am wanting to swap my 56 plate sapphire black 320d m sport auto for a lemans blue one in either transmission. when i had a lemans blue one i wanted black and now wanting to change again. ive made the same mistake of doing the carbon fibre wrap inside and having the front end sprayed by professional bodyshop as it had stonechips just to get bored again of the colour. my other half is going mad AGAIN. is it silly to change or do i keep the old one and convince myself its the colour i wanted as i seem to get my car mint then want a change. |

Knowing how difficult LM blue is too keep nice (scratches so easily) I'd think twice about choosing the colour again, it can look good though

Keep black mate. Would be silly to change again imo. Stick to what you chose before.

Get it wrapped. Not sure on the cost but it'll probably cost a lot less than changing car. Then, when you get bored again, peel off the wrap and hey presto, a new car colour, again.

What would be an "average" price for a wrap anyone ?
Sounds an interesting option for the future actually? . |

I know someone who does it. If interested, drop me a PM.

Honestly? Promise yourself that you'll consider it in the summer. It'll keep the missus happy for now, and by the sounds of it you'll have changed your mind back by then so win/win.
Trust me, the only option to tick that itch is to buy more than one car, been there done it and wasted enough sodding cash to never do it again! |

well after all your comments its sounding like im a bit of an idiot but you guys must know what its like when you get something in your head and your not 100%.
its the mind playing tricks but i have taken your comments on board an appreciate it. the obvious answer is to have one of each but the funds just wont stretch and i would not have a partner. if they only did one colour in the m sport that would solve my problem. |
