Lowered

Got my car lowered on friday (at Evolve).... put a set of Bilstein PSS10 coilovers...
Ok.. not sure about the coupes or 4doors... but previously my car (Vert) was bumpy and handling around corners was crap.... now believe it or not.. its a little smoother even though it is lower and the handling is x10 better. I highly recommend this!
I will add pics when I bother to wash my car...I know... im lazy!

how much lower is it? You need to be careful as there isn't alot to lower onto until your are riding on the bumpstops.

Very odd that your handling was as you say. I can only deduce that the geometry was wrong or you had a faulty suspension component.

I assume you have now had a full geometry set up up a Hunter machine? If so what specs are you running?

Compared to the coupe the vert does feel very different - Donbona's car does not have EDC. You can really feel the weight and flex when pushing on. The Bilsteins really transformed the ride and the handling.

Donbona's car has been set up with a Hunter machine after the Bilsteins were fitted. I'll try and locate the diagram for it.

Here is the diagram from the Hunter machine.

The before settings are just after the suspension has been fitted - thats the reason why they are so out.

Imran,
That's interesting. Are those the factory recomended settings? I didn't realise the M3 ran so much castor up front. The camber is static camber right? So when the car is cornering, ie when the front wheels are turned, the outside wheel will gain more negative camber and vice-versa for the inside wheel?

Would running more front toe-out reduce understeer?
