m3 wheels setup

will it make sense to have 18x9 all around instead of the oem setup of 18x8 front and 18x9 rear. will the same size wheels in the front as the rear, mess up the balance of the car or will they be ok. because i heard since the car is rear wheel drive the back wheels should always be wider then the front to handle the car better.

18x8 will be fine.... the only model of E90 that has wider rears is the 330 sport to my knowledge...I'll be running same width in winter even though I have the 330 Sport.

well thanks for your reply, But what i wanted to know was it ok to run 18x9 front and 18x9 rear. Should the rear wheels be wider then the front?

I would definitely go wider in the back....staggered look is "kick-ass!" Go 18x10 in the back if the option is available.( or 18x8 front / 18x9 rear...the dish should be deeper with the 18x9)

I have 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear....staggered.
I wouldn't do it any other way.....it's a rear-wheel drive!
