DOOR LOCKS?!

Im up in the mountians and my door locks stopped working? I went to unlock my car and every door but the drivers door unlocked. I had to open it with the key later the passanger door didnt work and the rear doors wont lock again. When i hit the lock button i can hear a mechanism do something but nothing happens. Has this every happened to anyone, is it the altude, cold or what?

All you need to do for the time being is access the fuse box that is inside the glove box and replace the blown 15 amps door lock fuse with a 20 amps fuse and you should be good to go!

This actually happened to me last Friday. Fuse blew out causing this and the dealership fixed within a matter of hours.

I'm not sure if its related but sometimes when I go out in the morning to unlock my car, the key fob doesn't unlock it. Then all of a sudden after trying over and over again it works...this has happened to me a few times. Twice in the last week. I don't have CA and I'm sure my battery is charged.

Happened to me 2 days after I bought the car and was pissed. Just yesterday I realized that my passenger actuator was out and have to take it in for that now...better be covered by CPO.

Locks on all 3 doors except the passenger door on our X5 stopped working. X5 is out of warranty.

$495 for rear driver
$495 for rear passenger
$560 for front passenger

Talk about ouch. This is why I won't own a BMW out of warranty again.
