Angel Eyes (Angel iBright)

I just wanted to see if anybody have any experience with upgrading the Halo Lights. I'm interested in the Angel Eyes iBright but I'm a little skeptical due to so many negative experiences reported on the forum.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks...

Over $500, OSS
Around $240, Lux
Around $120, Camaross' elite kit

Lux gets my vote cuz it's completely PnP.

I was one of the first members with the first versions, they failed after 2 weeks.

Second version is MUCH better. They havent crapped out or anything, they're relatively simple to install. If you want an easy switch for a 'bluer' color, go with AiBs!

I appreciate the feedback. Does LUX use a heat-sink for improved cooling or is it not needed?

Thanks...

i, too, had the first version crap out within a few days, second version caused my footwell module to take a crap, resulting in a trip to the stealer and argument why they should fix it for free, but now i've had them running for a couple weeks without breaking, so we'll see.

This is why I'm so hesitant ordering one. There are too many issues out there and it seems to be a shoot or miss scenario going on. Knowing my luck I will definitely get the bad batch no matter what version I order.

Thanks for your input.

What to do, what to do...

Not so fast on the LUX

I have the Lux. It'd be a great set up, but mine comes with intermittent left parking lamp error codes cause it's a 2010. It'll be fine one day and the next it'll chime & show up on the display 3-5 times going to work. Others have had this issue with 2010 models. Do a search & read the threads. GL
