If I am not mistaken the new LCI rear lights fit but they have LED's which means you might have to have resistors fitted for errors on the dash as LED's use less current than the normal bulbs. No idea about the estate fitment.

They wont fit the rear quarters and boot lid alignment is totally different for the lights.

The outer light should fit but the inner lights that bolt to the trunk wont. Alot of people do the sebion lci trunk and then the inner lights will work.

Why would you want a new trunk?

Dunno bout you but I prefer the pre LCI rear lights to the new ones. They seem more "put together" and rounded, they've got to be blacklines though . I'm not just saying this 'cos I have an E90. Here's a comparo'

I think you can reprogram the ecu to recognise the lights as LCI ones and not flag up errors - saves messing about with resistors. Someone on here has done it I'm sure..
