So I got my first ticket ... yay

Glendale, CA. I was dropping my sister off at Glendale High School, on the broadway side. I made a lane change without signaling and about 2 mins later I look in my rear view to see a cycle cop with his lights on. So he cited me for "failure to signal" and "No Plates".
Violation codes 22107 VC and 5200 a VC.
The car is registered under a different address than whats on my drivers lisence.
I know they usually send a letter home, but does anyone know which address it will go to? Cars or Driver Liscenses?
Also, how much am I looking to pay here?

Ticket should go to your driver's license address as it is what should be on the ticket. How come you didn't have any plates on?

They probably got you because you were near a school. I ran w/o plates on my S2000 for about a year and a half. 241 toll road = fun.

License, registration, and proof of insurance please No really, sorry to hear about your misfortune. If there is any advice I could pass on to my fellow E90members is try to be polite, respectful, and courteous if you get pulled over. It can make a BIG decision on whether the officer will "scratch" a ticket or give you a warning. It's all about the "attitude" test. TRUST ME!

you are absolutely right on this. i got pulled over doing 105 on the 15 heading home. i think i was doing faster and weaving in and out of lanes. he thought i was drinkng, becasue of this smell i had in the car. (old jamba juice cup) he ask me to step out of the car. he stood literally 2 inches away from me to try to smell my breathe. every question he asked me i answer and on the end of every sentence its "sir" or "officer". i was in shock that he let me go with a just a warning. he said he will take my DL # and if he cathc me doing it again he will impound my car and arrest me. i said thank you sir. i dorve home doing 65 all the way home from bakers.
