Any Thoughts??
So my 2010 E90 335i has been in for service now 4 times. It has 4400 miles and I am little frustrated. But my real question deals with todays experience. After another check engine light, I took my car in today and was told it was the HPFP. Standard. So they changed it out with a new one and called me to pick it up. I fired her up and everything seemed fine. Took her out on the road and driving away from the dealership the car had NO POWER at all. With the car floored in second gear it would not accelerate at all. Im not talking about a slight drop off in power, Im talking about it would even make it to 30mph in second. Any thoughts anyone? Thanks in advance for the help!!

Regarding your most recent incident, it sounds like they either did something wrong or replaced it with a DOA unit. It's possible, but having it happen while pulling out of the dealer lot is embarrassing on their part. Clearly nobody tested it out.
Time to start reminding them how many times the car is in for service, and maybe start researching your state's lemon law if you decide to go that route.

I was researching the lemon law last night for Washington and it needs to be in 4 different times with the same problem to qualify, so I am about there. As for it not being properly tested, the car drove ok around the lot, but once I put my foot down, nothing happened. And by the way, it was one of the new pumps they gave me, so Im not sure about it being DOA. Is there any chance a hose or line was knocked loose during installation and then came off under a load? Thanks again guys!

Its a shame that this is happening to you and not allowing you to enjoy your car...sounds almost like its the dealers fault...
