Thinking about picking up a E92 328i... am I getting a good deal?
Hey guys, long time lurker. Great community, thought I'd pick your brains a bit.
I'm trying to get myself into a 328i coupe and found a couple that I like - just trying to gauge your feedback to see if I'm getting a solid deal.. I've thought about swinging for the fences with a 335i but at this point, I'm looking for something with a bit more stability/reliability and a solid commuter that won't get me into trouble. Are there any "must-have" options besides the Sports Pkg I should really look for? Any big issues I need to keep an eye on? 1.) 2007 328i coupe AUTO with just 19,000 miles - Premium Pkg (what's in this?), Cold Weather Pkg, Sports Pkg, Adaptive Xenons, Moonroof, Heated/Powered Front Seats for $25,000.00 2.) 2007 328i coupe AUTO with 34,239 miles - Sports Pkg, Push Button Start, Interior Woodgrain Pkg, factory NAVIGATION, DSC/TC (aren't these standard?), not sure about moonroof for $23,000.00 3.) 2007 328i coupe AUTO with 21,000 miles CPO'ed from dealership - Moonroof, Sports Pkg, Sport Suspension (doesn't this come with all sport suspension packages?), Aluminum trim and CPO for $27,000.00 Any input? Suggestions? Do I have room to bargain? Thanks in advance Last edited by herro; 03-11-2010 at 01:50 PM.. |

they all seem like decent deals and if thats the lsit price, you will always have some room (some more than others) to negotiate, of the 3 above, id go with #1, # 3 and then #2 in that order. Good Luck and make sure you run a car fax report before buying.

I'm assuming 1 and 2 are NOT cpo based on the pricing? I'm looking very hard at a cpo 07 328i coupe...28k miles, $26.9k. Sport/cold/premium packages, manual.
I think I'm really focused on the manual transmission in this car. I just think you need it to really extract the power from this motor. That said, I have not yet driven one with an auto. Good luck! |
