oil from catch can
I just drained my Riss Racing oil catch can and three was about three tablespoons in there. I havent drained it since last August, but still think this is quite a bit of oil that would otherwise be in the intercooler piping etc.. So, the catch can is obviously doing what it was intended to do.

Cool. I have the BSH can being delivered tomorrow. I just could never install the Riss since there were so many reports of it leaking.

I agree. Instead every year, they seem to make everything an option (Logic 7, etc)

can't have a problem free car. the dealership/service centers will suffer, got to think about job security. they'll have to charge more for the car. oh wait, they already do that.
do any cars come stock with a catch can? |

Well played lol.
To Dakcyd Turbo, ive had mine on for a few hundred and already collecting oil. I think it helps to have a dipstick so I can see what is on the bottom.

I have the AR one and its clear so I can see if anything has collected. Opened it up yesterday and felt oil residue but no oil collection in the can. Weird...also I don't know if this has any relation to my catch can install or my spark plug change (did both @ the same time) but my rpms @ idle are now at 750ish vs 600. Well it starts at 600 but will feel like its misfiring then rev to 750. You guys think its the plugs (oem) or the OCC that could be causing my higher revs and slight studder at idle. I'm thinking either boost leak or crappy plugs?
