Pulled the trigger on F10 535i
Finally decided to order the following:
F10 535i Dark Graphite Metallic exterior Oyster/Black interior ZCV Convenience ZCW Cold Weather ZDA Driver Assistance ZDH Dynamic Handling ZP2 Premium 2 ZPP Premium ZSP Sport 2TB Sport auto transmission 465 Split fold down rear seat 4CE Anthracite wood trim Dealer says I should get it late May/ early June. Can't wait. Already on the BMW order tracking page. Saw the color combination at the NY auto show this weekend and was hooked. The contrast between the shadow black trim and dark graphite (sophisto) body color is striking in person. The two-tone oyster/black interior is also a winner. Excellent build quality, comfortable space, and I'm sure the ride will be "joy" based on the reviews. Great job BMW. To the forum members, thanks for your comments and posts -- very helpful for information and opinion gathering. |

Wow more and more orders rolling in now! Congrats to all you soon-to-be lucky owners.
That sophisto gray & oyster combo is going to be stunning! I fell in love with sophisto in person. Color me jealous

I ordered the Dakota leather. The NY auto show had a Space Gray, Venetian Beige Dakota 535i and a Sophisto, Oyster/Black Nappa 550i. Both had the sport package. The Nappa leather is very fine-grained with a smoother texture. Both Nappa and Dakota are excellent but I like the Dakota texture a bit more.

does the ZDH Dynamic Handling package include all 3 components, dynamic drive, dynamic damper and adaptive dive? Can these 3 components be ordered separately?

According the the US ordering guide, ZDH includes 223 Electronic Damping Control, 229 Active Roll Stabilization and 2VA Adaptive Drive. These features aren't listed as separate options. ZDH also requires the Sport Package.

Start an account on the BMW USA website and enter your production number. You can either get the updates online or call BMW USA for more detailed (and up to date) status.

I went with 331's. They looked better in person IMO than the 332's.

I have to agree with your choice, those 19" are by far the nicest. Having driven this very setup and it compared favourably against my Jag XF Portfolio with it's 20", so you are getting a cracker motor my friend.

If you're getting a SP 535, they come with the 331s, no? And likewise, if you're getting a SP 550, they come with the 332. So someone getting a SP 550 is not faced with the choice (op opportunity) to select the 331s. Please correct me if I'm wrong. |

Congrats on your 535, I ordered a 550 and will be replacing a 2008 535 which I loved, besides some old muscle cars my favorite car to drive that I have owned.
I was told here in Germany by BMW that the official release date in the US was June 19th, has your dealer mentioned that date to you? I dont believe the car can be put on the road until that date. |
