On the 405S in Carson and didn't see a chp SUV of all things. Changed into his lane (fast lane) from 3rd lane going 80-90 mph and he nailed me. It sucks because I usually can spot the chp cars from far away and slow down. Then of course he nails me for tinted windows and no front plate. Awesome way to start the long weekend.

I have never gotten a ticket anywhere or at any time in my life before today.

That sucks bro, I just got one too, 69 mph in a 60 mph zone. So lame. You can try fighting yours, but at 80-90 mph I don't think you will have much of a chance.

Time to invest in a V1. Guess who else got a ticket? Chris... Hahaha... I've been on him to get a V1 as well. Cheapskate keeps wanting to borrow mine.

Yeah Joe, my friend told me to invest in one too. I kept saying to myself I'd keep speeding until I got caught. 5 years later and I get nailed lol. The V1 probably would've saved my ass today too.

I bought my V1 right after I got my first speeding tk. I aways fight in the court. When you show up, the judge or the DA will respect that you have the time to come and will always give you some reduction of the tk. amount. Most time the CHP don't shows up. I got a 79mph in 65mph zone. I called in to reschedule the trial twice. So, the chp don't show up. No $$ to pay. No insurance increase.

So, fight in the court. You will at least get some reduction of the speed or fine.

no v1 can save you from this. he was obviously going faster than the chp that is probably doing 70-75 already. you could fight it since he have no proof you where doing 80-90. my guess is that he was doing at least 75 and since you were passing him he was guessing you were doing at least 80. so fight it. he most likely have no proof. good luck foo.

Yeah he put "80+" as my approximate speed. But what am I going to do about the tint? I don't want to remove it and waste my money, and my cousin in the LAPD says he can't sign it off since it's against department policy. Anyone know a cop in a local department? lol

which court are you going to??? when i went to compton court, the judge ask me did i fix my stuff??? i actaully didnt fix it, but i said yes and he just dismissed it. took me 3 hours but worth the wait. just pay 10 bucks.

Long Beach. Well I have a speeding violation and the 2 fix-it violations. You think the judge will have a high probability of dismissing everything considering it's my first speeding ticket in my life? lol. And then just say I fixed the tint?

Just tell the judge you got a new BMW and wanted to see how fast it goes...if he has a BMW he may be sympathetic...LOL
