i went there right now and wow its too hard of a road...i nearly shat my pants.

anyone been there?

its too intense....small lanes and bad road conditions...i dont even think fully fixed up stis can take that road.

it's a great bike road, when I used to live down there decker, latigo, and some of the other canyon roads were a blast


more fun on a bike than a big wide 3 series though, the road may be a bit narrow for that.

just remember to pull over and let the bikes by when you're out there!

ward dont you love the end of the road when you have the view of the ocean and you can see all the crazy turns from the top...its beautiful.

that whole place is just wonderful, so many great roads with so much great scenery.

Heck I even had a guy on a BMW bike help me out one time when I got a flat with a plug kit and pump. BMW riders are hardcore.

I used to ride out there all the way from fullerton and it was well worth it

Decker may be tight road, but you can still drive it hard in a 3-series. I usually do latigo up then decker down. I don't think I've had the chance to do decker uphill though.

Bikes should be fast on these roads, but I always happen to run into the slow ones who hold you up and refuse to let you pass.

Surprisingly, most of the time the sport bikes get in the way. On these roads, I think its just overall easier and safer to push it in a car.
