2007 328xi...opt for side moulding?

just curious if everyone gets side moulding for the sedan. never realized it was optional. do most of you sedan owners prefer to get side moulding?

I thought there for a second I was missing something. I even looked on the BMW usa site to see what they were talking about.

i swear i was asked if i wanted side moulding or not. and i was shown a 2007 328xi with side moulding. all the other cars didnt have it. its basically a 2 cm thick body paint colored moulding running down the side but i think it didnt quite make it to either wheel well.

Id like to see pics of this. I have never seen it on any E90-something 3 series...

Negative on side moldings, even if they offered them. If I was getting an Acura TL I may have but the Bimmer looks perfect as is!

Not doubting you, but must be something a demented dealer is doing one off.

Whoa there... look at this right from the most recent 3er accessories catalog.

What strikes me the most about this picture is how the heritage from the E46 is now so obvious.

Can you not see the image (scanned jpeg)? I can see it in my post and your quote. Yikes, I thought I knew what I was doing.

I added it again as an attachment below.
