I am sure you will be able to get a kit somewhere...but it would be a Beast. I think nitrous is kind dumb, it is really bad for your car, and the 335 is already PLENTY fast! Must faster it gets pretty dangerous....Plus you live in the States, so what the big deal when you can leagly only go 65??

my .02!

Ps. Your sig dosn't need all those spaces in it, and all you have to to is click on the icon when you are posting a new thread, you don't need to copy the link!!

I automatically think 13 year olds whenever I hear NOS...

Not really practical with a TT engine thats already at a high compression rate...

Like Shiv said methanol injection would be a better alternative.

And even that is rarely a perfectly safe approach. I haven't priced out a replacement 335i motor but i'm guessing it's a bit more than an Evo or Subaru block. The problem with meth injection is that it relies on simple high pressure jets to squirt methanol. The methanol is used as fuel (in addition to gasoline from the standard injectors) and as a method of octane enhancement. If the jet clogs, the car runs lean and without the necessary octane to support the boost and aggressive timing curves. And it is very likely that the engine will fail with in the following second or two. There are precautions that we have taken in the past to keep this from happening (XEDE's lean-run protection, for instance, which cuts all fuel if the car runs leaner than X for longer than Y milliseconds). But even with that, it's still not as safe as running straight methanol or gasoline through the injectors. But when it works, and tuned for properly, it makes for great power.

cheers,
shiv

use to run 100 shot n2o dry on the 1.8t intercooler...and 100 shot n2o wet direct port in 1.8t passat (a4)....didn't have any problems.....but...audi/vw really built a bulletproof engine with the 1.8t....no matter how much boost...never had leak or problem in the engine for 150,000 miles....and handled all the n2o i could throw at it....

it took a massive 6 inch deep pot hole to crack the engine....and send my vw to car heaven...oh well..now i got the e90 to play with..but it's not as fun and mod. friendly...

i hit a massive 6+ inch deep pothole on the highway last week... it even made me bite my tongue... literally.
luckily the car survived with just a small 'chunk" out of the tire... and a small ding in the wheel... i was so pissed.

I ran a GT-67 Turbo on my Denali with 5lbs of boost. But had a 2nd setting to run 9psi with Methanol Injection. The extra 4psi along with the injecion added roughly 100awhp and more torque! I only flipped the switch for short bursts when I had to smoke someone unsuspecting or when I took it to the 1/4 mile track. The best part was just filling up the tank once per month or so; made it easy! But I felt comfortable knowing I had one of the best Tuners in Phoenix tune it on the street. Good stuff...
