What's a good price to pay for a low miles '06 330i?
A dealer near me has my ideal combo w/ 20k miles on it. I know 330i prices have taken a real hit, but of course their asking price isn't reflecting that much ($38,700).
I'd love to hold out for a 335, but I'd be tempted if I could get the 330 for cheap... so what would you consider a good deal? Details: SG w/ ette ZSP No Nav Not sure about all other options, but those are the biggies. Thanks! |

39K is insane! Thats MSRP on a base 335 sedan.
I think 32K would be a good deal and even at that I would just do ED and get a 335 with all the options I wanted.

Should have added that its a manual.
Also, when re-reading my original post, I realized its important to note the car is at a Toyota dealership, not a BMW one therefore its not CPO w/ any kind of extended warranty. Also, its unlikely they know about the 335i and the fact that 330i prices are plumetting. Its not in a big market so I doubt it will move quickly. Lastly, the car has ette but they say leather on their website so if they really think its leather, when I prove to them its ette, that should knock off $2k right there. Bottom line is my first offer would probably be in the $31k to $32.5 range. If It got it for close to that, I'd be getting a pretty good deal, right? |

I traded my loaded 06 that I paid $46,800 for $34,000. I only had 14,500 miles so yours should be much less. Last edited by Barry626; 12-01-2006 at 03:05 AM.. |

For a car with so few options, I would not pay anything more than 34k for it... |

I was having trouble justifying a 335 coupe (was trying all the tricks, go 335 sedan, skip premium, etc.), but my g/f summed it up nicely--as long as you're in the ballpark, get what you want, even it if costs more. You can always get or make the money back. There's nothing like having something 3-5+ years that wasn't quite what you wanted. i.e. 38k and you didn't get quite what you want, that's no bargain. Why get a 330 now when the 335 is out? In other words, if you do, you're letting discount dictate what you buy. If you want the 330, put some distance between when it was replaced and when you bought it used.
My feeling is 335 today, 330 maybe in another 6-12 mos. |

Just wondering...those prices in all your reactions here, like 36K and 32K and 38,700 $ etc...is that all in? Is there any state or county tax to be added to that?
The standard price for a 330i in Belgium (and in Germany) is 41 450 Euro or 54 498.46 U.S. dollar. You are a bunch of spoiled children! (woudn't I better consider emigrating to the States?) |

To answer the one question, yes there are sales taxes and other additional fees that will be tacked on in the end.
Obviously I would prefer the 335, but if I were to get this one at or below $33k, that's at least a $10k difference and that's the only reason I'd consider a 330i. I'd love the coupe, but the wife is making noise about having another kid (which would give us 3) so I need to be able to seat 3 in the back. So that leaves either an E90 or maybe a nicely maintained E39... Anyway, thanks for all the replies and things to consider. Hopefully there is a 335 in my not-to-distant future but if not, "settling" for a 330 really wouldn't suck... |

I read an earlier post a guy with an 06 330i was trading in and receiving $28k. Find that post, call him, and give him 30K, its a win-win for both of you.
