Z4M roady @ thunderhill (video)

Alright... I guess I will be the first one since no one has posted any roady track video.

NCRC event at Thunderhill. I just mounted Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec 245/275 on the stock rims not long ago. the car understeered a bit due to incorrect tire pressure. A little bit more PSI tweaking should help rotate the car better.

Comments and tips are welcomed...

Man it's been 2 years since the last time I was at T-Hill. If it weren't for the usual heat and humidity (and the 8+ hour drive) I'd put T-Hill near the top of the list of favorite tracks.

Not sure if you want any comments, but here's a little tip I picked up from a friend. That last turn onto the front straight? There's no "straight" section between the two apexes.

In order to make the last "turn" into a turn-in, pause and let the car track out to the outside, hold the arc for the 2nd apex, you need to make the first apex super late. By being on the first geometrical apex you won't be able to make a single arc through the entire turn.

Again, to do so you must give up a little bit of entry speed but the exit speed and ultimately terminal speed gained down the front straight will more than make up for the split second lost in the braking zone to the first half of the turn.

A friend of mine put it this way regarding T-Hill...A 1 mph difference at the exit to the straight will equal a 5 mph difference at the end of the straight.
