335i xede tuning
Anybody down for the xede tuning? We need about 4 more 335i's ( 5 including mine) to have shiv himself come to nyc and tune ur vehicles. Please let me know.

The xede kit is about 1300, the installation ( depending on the time we meet) may be around 500, average hp gains are around 40-60 hp and average torque gains are about 60-75, pretty neat considering the price we are paying.

I am defintely down. Do you know of a shop where the dyno can be rented for an entire day?

Thanks for responding, Unfortunately I don't know any dyno shops that we can rent. Shiv travels from Cali, to Texas to Cananda, I'm sure he can figure something out. Now we just need about 3 more 335i's, then we can serious make Shiv an offer.

If you do more research on the xede, you will find out that the xede can be easily removed within 15 minutes. You can definitely take it off be4 you go for your oil change or tune up etc. However, the xede should be completely invicible to the dealer as well as the ecu.

Im expecting my 335 coupe at the end of december or early jan. So by Feb when u guyz get ur cars ill definitly be ready. I actually know a dyno in jersey, its not too far off the verrazano bridge, right off the 440. Its called E-shift Performance. They did some work for me and im sure i can get a good price for a day rental of their dyno. Just let me know. But im definitly down for getting shiv over here.

so 1800? would be total? he needs 500$ for each of our cars to install? i'm in if he can get it down to 1300 for everything, he will be making 1300 x 6 or seven cars? he'll make like 10 g's in a day? yeah, cost for this that, i understand, but its a chip!
ok, well let me know when there is a total price for each car, then i'm in...... |

Plz try to understand that we have to book his ticket, find him a hotel where he can stay at, and also rent the dyno for a day. So the total cost would be around 1800. 1300 is for the xede.

Was waiting for people in NJ from bimmerfest to do the same thing, glad I found this. Is anyone else doing a exhaust system as well, b/c that should be done first before the tune by Shiv.

I'm only sticking with the xede until my warranty is over. Then I will definitely Mod the internals as well as the exhaust. Are you down for the xede tuning?

We should set a date; I suggest Late April, it'll give the guys who are just getting their cars time to break them in, and make it warm enough to stand around outside.
Once we decide, I'll book my friend, we just need a location. We've always used dealerships. It sounds weird, but we should contact a dealer that supports aftermarket (Dinan Dealers), maybe they can use it as a learning session to sell Xede's. Let me know what you all think... Luke |

So theres chris202, roller84, youyou, acuracy, and specialque. Everyones definitely down right?, if yes we have 6 cars for shiv to tune. How does mid April, or early May sound? Should be enough time for everyone to receive their vehicles and break it in a little bit. Everyone fine with the timing? Plz let me know. Thanks, Tom
